After the disappointment of not rowing in the sea at Tynemouth due to inclement weather in July the Sunday League crews headed to Cambois with fingers crossed for better conditions.
Not only did the rain stay away, and the sun make brief appearances, but the crews had great results on the water.
The Open crew won 2 races, with very close finishes in other two races. The women’s crew had a fantastic clean sweep of wins (4 out of 4), with a couple being by less than a canvas. Thanks to Rob and Beverley for encouraging us all to push through the legs right to the end!
